Hi there. Quick question for you. I have a 2006 GS430, ML system. I have the dreaded metal on metal rattle coming from the center speaker in the dash. I was doing some research and came across your thread that talked about the issue and how you fixed it. Today I removed the speaker grill/cover, and I see that the speaker is held in place by 2 bolts. I read in your thread that in order to remove the speaker you need to remove the bolts, then pull out the speaker, clean off the adhesive residue on the bottom of the speaker, and then re-install the speaker using double sided tape. Is it really that easy? Are there any wires you need to unplug once you remove the speaker? You also mentioned a metal plate. Does the metal plate stay in place when you remove the speaker? Sorry for all the questions, I'm a pretty handy guy, but I just don't want to screw anything up. Thanks a lot for your help.
