Cowboy: Has the 92 LS400 repair manual been taken down? I cant seem to find it anymore. Also, I am getting a code 13 RPM problem code. What do I need to check to clear this error? I just installed o2 sensors and got rid of 25-26 codes. Code 13 is all I have left- except code 47. Is the code 13 a bad sensor or what and where is the potential bad sensor? Thanks! - Jerry

Cowboy: I want to do the starter repair. -Just the plunger and contacts. I thought I saw a tutorial somewhere that explains step by step what needs to be removed from the engine to get to the starter. Is installing the 20.00 kit from the repair company the best way to go? I'm really not interested in dropping all the other stuff required to remove the entire starter. Any suggestions would be appreciated. - Jerry

I have '98 LS400 and live in Athens, AL. I have had an eventful 2 weeks after owning the car for around 20 months without a single problem. Currently the car will turn over but not start, in researching the problem on the forums I ran across your username on just about every thread. I filmed a video and posted it to my google drive: (https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B3xI...it?usp=sharing). If you have any guidance on the situation I would be thrilled since it seems that you have plenty of experience reviving dead LS400's.
