Can you recommend a tire or two for my GS350AWD for noise, comfort and handling in that order. I will also need it for winter driving in the Northeast (Philadelphia). I currently have the Goodyear F1 and they are good with performance but after 10,000 miles the noise is utterly ridiculous. There is always a constant droning on the highway and forget about driving with the windows down, its like a tornado coming at you. These tires still look brand new but I hate the noise that I have to put up with on my 120 miles round trip daily, 100 miles of it being all highway.
How thick of sidewall would you recommend for my 18's? I want to get 225/40 for the front. Should I get 245/35 or 245/40 for the rears? Can you also get me some prices on those sizes. Any brand the cheaper the better. looking for some tires with good tread wear. my zipcode is 72904.
Hey Brandon, am interested in price quote for the Goodyear Assurance Triple tread. This is going to be going on a 97 Honda CR-V in stock size. Have a relative who will be ordering within the next week or 2 and am referring her thru CL so credit will be given to CL as well.
Hello currently a 2008 Lexus IS250 RWD owner. In about 2 weeks I am getting new wheels in 19x8.5 35 offset, 19x9.0 32 offset Work Sc1 wheels (order placed on 4-16-09). I am in the market for new tires. What would you suggest and what king of pricing would I be looking at? I need high tread life as this is my daily driver and I'm on stock suspension but may drop it 1 inch down the road on F-sport springs. Trying to keep the cost low but not low Quality. Thanks
Just ordered a set of struts and shocks for the old van, along with a pair of headlight bulbs, 3627895-000. Yes, I gave you credit Thanks for a great site!
I live in Tacoma, WA and I'm already looking for winter tires. I recently purchased an 05 IS300 Sportcross that came with the 5 spoke front wheels at 215/45/17 and rear at 225/45/17.
After some extensive researching I was thinking of the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D at 205/55R 16. What are your thoughts/opinions on this? We typically don't get too much snowfall and I mainly drive on highways. I noticed on your website there isn't any steel wheel rims available. I kind of want to go the cheapest route and buy steel wheels instead of alloy. Is this feasible? When will the steel wheels be available to purchase?
I am no expert in this field, since my prior car was a WRX and I never had to do any tire swapping. I hope to hear from you soon, and thank you in advance for your time and help.
