Map Ecu 2 is a fuel/ignition controller so you don't need to send your ecu anywhere, you just tap it to your existing ecu harness or buy a patch harness so you don't have to splice through your actual ecu harness.
ok well this guy has all these parts i would need except a harness. for a custom it would be 799..or a stock soarer and moded for 650. how do i map ecu 2? I am not against trying anything but he just had the parts laying around so that was our first plan.. Im gonna look for a megasquirt but who did your patch harness? and what does that intail?
If you have a soarer ecu it sounds like you will need a soarer harness and your sc harness spliced. Before you do all of that think about a stand alone system like megasquirt. In my opinion the soarer ecru is useless unless you have a 1jz.
I meant my friend has all the parts i would need and the headgasket is on the list. What ecu did you run and how did you do your wiring harness? he has a soarer ecu for me so i have been told even if i find a soarer harness it would need to be moded. or use my factory and have it moded but then my cars down for much longer. i don't know what your friend means but turbocharging the 2jzge motor is perfectly fine. if you're planning to make more than 400 whp than the only thing i suggest is do a tt head gasket swap and some ARP head studs, that's what i done to my engine.
