If the in and out hoses are both hot, then I would think that the air mix servo-motor or damper is not working correctly. Does the distribution of airflow work correctly? Have you run the A/C code check? Code 33 is would be my suspect.
thanks for the reply on my issue with the heater, im actually going mad with trying to figure it out. i have checked the hcv and it seems to be working fine, it open and closes and the two hoses coming through the firewall are both hot, one does seem to be a little hotter than the other but not much. At times they are both almost to hot to touch. I once again flushed the heater core today thinking that there is a clog in there and its not allowing proper flow through. It might have gotten a little warmer but still not very warm. Could it be possible that the core is blocked like that? The car was my father in laws and it has been parked for almost a year under a nice big cedar tree with lots of debris on it when I bought it from him. I dont know man I cannot figure it out. Tonight is suppose to be 27 degrees and chance of snow tomorrow so anything you could think of would be much appreciated. thanks again...me the tree
