Hey..how YOU doin'?
I've always loved "nice" cars. While my friends in high school were drooling over Corvettes and Mustangs and Camaros I was drooling on the Caddys and Mercedes and BMW's..that was the 80's..lol. Then I bought my first car...a 1994 Acura Legend! It was white, and when washed/waxed/ArmorAll'ed, that thing was beautiful! I traded it in w/175k miles to the Acura dealer and got a used 2002 Acura 3.5RL, w/34k miles. I still have it.
Starting in 2005, I think Acura's flagship went downhill. I think the 3.5RL is an overpriced techno-advanced Accord! They lost the luxury image brand, so that forced me towards Lexus.
I'm the proud owner of my first Lexus--bought in April, 2009. The greatest car I've ever owned and probably even driven.
After highschool, I did 12 years in the Marines. President Clinton cut and slashed the defense budget while he was sleeping with Monica Lewinski, and his perspective on terrorism was non-existent. In the meantime, our enemies (radical Islamists) were bombing us at sea (USS Cole) and at home (first World Trade Center bombing), just to name a few. How quickly we forget.
Because of DoD budget cuts, a LOT of military/Dept of Defense personnel were forced out..including me. We used to be manned---and I DO mean MANNED, not staffed

with enough MEN to fight 2 wars in 2 different theaters. (ex- one in Europe, one in Asia) You hear all the time now, on the drive-by media,
"the military personnel are wearing thin with all the extended deployments", etc. You can thank Slick Willie for that..
I landed my civilian job with the great military experience and training from the finest the USA has to offer...the Marines. I'm now a technical rep. for a fire/security technology company (cameras, card access, fire detection, etc).
I have never been married, and don't have any kids. I love going out in Philadelphia, Sixers games, nice restaurants, doubledating, etc.
I soooo love my Lexus...
Semper Fi.
Thanks for visiting!

5/09 update...the Air Force made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I'm back in, but now with the USAF! I'm currently in training to be a C-5 Crew Chief.
Stay tuned!
