Sorry if you get mixed messages from me, but wanted to make sure that you got a thanks for your time and correct suggestions that remedied my problem. Don't have a camera but think that you are correct to assume that the spare Good Year might be a 1998 manufacture date possibly even the original spare. Put on 4 new tires and that really made a huge difference in total feel and handling. If I had any sense I would have been more awake with checking tires and realizing handling problems could arise. I appreciate your suggestions and help, Mr. Booby. I checked the Eagle and couldn't find the exact arrangement of letter-number sequence that you indicated. What I did find was Dot// M6UR/ FJR/ 128. Think I'll just use it as a spare and look into buying another set of tires soon.
