roll the window down, take a coat hanger and bend the tip to a hook, slide it down past the glass and grab the lock and make it release. you have no other option, and it is not that hard.

1) Park your car in some parking lot, with a parking space next to you..
2) Have a friend, preferably with a van or truck, carefully park it just an inch from your driver's side, so no one can get to your driver's door.
3) Making sure you have a spare key with you, lock your keys in your car.
4) Call AAA and utilize their free "lock out" service (for members only).
5) Let the dispatched AAA lock technician deal with getting your passenger door open.

Well those AAA techs open dozens of doors a week, so if they can't do it, it's time for plan B.
When you open your driver's door, take a look at the u-shaped fixture in the inside door jamb that the door attaches to. If that piece can be loosened and removed on the passenger side, then you're in business.
Try removing the rear seat, and then the inner side panel of the rear area, which will allow you access to the inside part of the door jamb. There should be some bolts or nuts you can remove or drill out to free up the u-shaped fixture that the door latches to.
Hopefully someone else has a better idea, but those are my thoughts for now.

We had to break in to a Soarer a few weeks back, we took a look inside another door to see how the lock mechanism works, after that it took 5seconds to open the locked door - worrying.
Anyway if you do as suggested above and check how the drivers door lock catch can be activated manually with a bit of fiddling you should be able to get it open, then you can replace the 5c plastic clip that breaks and allows the mechanism to get trapped under the window.

lock motor seizes..very common problem..............forcing the lock mechanism open from the window seal is usually frustrating at best but it can be done..........find a long screw driver..........and a lot of patience....good luck

I dont think its a locked door b/c the lock moves fine...it shows it unlocked, and when I try to move the handle from the inside it tries to open, but it cant b/c something is in the way, stopping it from opening...as for the outside...the door handle seems like it has been disconnected because when u you on it, it seems very light, on the drivers side door, even when its locked u feel thats its not as light as the handle on the passenger side..

maybe a rod clip broke and has allowed a rod to fall in such a way that the lock mechanism cannot move sufficiently to allow the door to unlock......you could try to put a extendable pocket magnet down the top of the window run and "fish" for a loose rod....maybe you can move it out of the way enough to open the door....
