Default 2003 ES eating struts

Hey guys! New member here, just looking for some advice that no one else seems to be able to provide. Have an 03 ES with the 3.0 in it, bought it lightly used at 50k miles 2 years ago and have loved it ever since; However, in the course of its life it has endured some severe punishment, seeing as I live in WV and the roads are just dreadful. For some reason unbeknownst to me it has needed struts replaced three times since it hit 70k miles. I've finally had a mild fix on the last set when I used heavy duty moog parts only but those too are begging to fail after less than 17 k miles. Any ideas, thoughts, comments? Would be greatly appreciated, thx guys.

Is it the strut or strut mount that fails? Are you using quick struts?

The strut mount fails first, then the strut follows not long after. I am using moog strut mounts and Monroe struts and springs.

Alot of discussion in the ES section on strut mounts - definitely worth a search in that section. Many of the posts suggest OEM mounts as do I. I have changed the struts and mounts on my 2002 ES. OEM mounts, OEM rubbers, original springs, KYB struts (rock auto). Note the ride quality is more a sport/stiffer style suspension with the KYB's.
