Default My 2003 RX300 Still running strong...but now am told need a drive shaft?

Last inspection my mechanic told me the drive shaft was going to need replaced. He let me go that term..but said come next inspection it will need done!! Well I got a month to go for new inspection and not looking forward to this bill from what i hear its not cheap!!! And I heard you can't replace just the joints like all my past cars???? Sounds like a big scam!! haha Anyways..he says he usually uses a place that rebuilds them.........gonna touch base with him now and see what the cost is gonna be...figured I would come on here for any additional tips or advice as you are the ones that know that most about your own car and are usually awesome for advice.

thanks Mike
