Default How to get to valve cover

Hi All,

I have a 2002 sc430.
I tried to take off my drivers side valve cover to repair the leaking gasket.

There is so much junk in the way I could not get to it.
I removed around a dozen 10mm bolts, but there is still an electrical relay I cannot remove.

There are several electrical connectors towards the front of the vehicle, and I unplug all but one (couldn't find it went down into the lower front part of the car in a maze),

Any tips on how to get to the drivers side valve cover?
Is there a trick to this?
Maybe I need to get under the car?

Thanks!

I was just tightening my valve cover bolts on my 4.3 tonight. What a PIA trying to get to them. I can't help you with taking it off, looks like more of a pain then I first thought, you may want to try tightening the valve cover bolts(they get pretty loose) and also using a gasket rejuvenating product like Lubro Moly Engine Oil Saver or ATP 250 to see if that works to stop or heavily slow down the leak before you tackle that job.
