Loaner for 60K service?
Am I suppose to have loaner for my 60K services? I probably need to call Longo Lexus to find out. Anybody had experience? I called couple days ago and they quote me $298+TTL for 60K services for 1999 GS3.

Depending on their loaner policy. You should get a loaner for your 60K service. Some dealer won't give the Lexus loaner to a 1st time customer because sometime the loaner got stolen by the 1st time customer. I mean never return the loaner and come in with the extra key to get his car back and used a fake ID...

For my 60K service for my 99 RX at Lexus of San Antonio, I was given a loaner without cost. However, it was a 2002 Toyota Camry. However, just ask for it and you should get it.

loaner car
I always use my dealer's pick up & delivery service BUT I have to make an appointment at least a week because they're short of drivers nowadays. For minor adjustments, I just drop by the dealership and tell them what I need, they look at the car and then set me up for appoinment. 90% of the time, I get the new RX300 and 10% a new ES. They encourage setting up an appointment for better service and proper allocation of their loaner cars.Never experienced given a Camry or other generic rent-a-car. I waited one time (my choice) because I like watching movie in their theater. It would depend on which dealership you go. I went to another dealer for my sister's Lexus tinting and I waited 3 hrs so It is not in my dreams going back there.Another dealer sent a letter to my teacher (service her GS300) to fill up the gas next time she use the loaner. In my dealership, they DO NOT let me fill up the gas when I return the loaner. I do it voluntarily if I feel guilty. When I'm in a hurry I return the car without filling up. We have 4 Lexus dealerships in my area & I tried all of them including sales dept. & body shop. Now I know which one is easy to deal with and willing to give me VIP treatment. That's where I send all my referrals.

Lexmex,
I think they have limitation as to how far away you're from their dealership. Like the one where I bought my car, they don't pick up & deliver outside their 50 miles radius. Instead, they send me to their sister company near where I live. I don't have a good chemistry with the service advisor there, so I insisted to have my car service back at the first dealership.Eventhough, I'm out of their 50 mile radius, they still do pick up & delivery service on all my cars.
Also, if you are close to the border, I have some friends in McAllen where they service their Lexuses at Frank Smith Toyota (for minor service) and drive back to Austin or San Antonio for major service.
I think there's another Toyota dealership down Harlingen as your alternative.

$298 + Tax, Title & License? LOL!!!! That's unbelievable drive out price.!!! (joke only)
That quote is REAL cheap for a 60K mile service. Normally, in my area the prices are ranging from $800+tax up to about $1200+tax.Some other parts that might need replacement, like the brake pads, etc...etc are NOT included. I was UPSET last month because @ 60Kmile service for the LS400, the windshield wiper insert was not changed (YES, It's NOT INCLUDED!) I called up the service manager and complained ( I sent them many referrals in the past ) I ended up paying $500 only and he told me that was their cost. I have 6 days RX300 loaner and I went to Sight seeing in Austin.
