Default oil on spark plug

I finally got around to changing my spark plugs, when I took the first one out the one closest to the front on the passenger side I noticed there was some oil on the ignition coil tip and then when I pulled out the sparkplug it was covered in oil, this mustve happened on a couple of days earlier I was doing like about 80-90 mph when the check engine light and check vsc came on, what can be wrong to cause this?

For the oil on the spark plugs, you have to replace the valve cover gaskets.

Default oil on spark plugs

had same problem cahnged valve covers.. but make sure to check and possibly change spark plug wires!!! the boot that covers your spark plug also covers those holes just to the sides of the spark plugs! when you look in there and clean that oil you will see what i mean..
