Lead cover question...
Hi guys,
I'm a new user from Australia and have a quick question...
Firstly, I don't own a Lexus *hears groans from other forum users*.
Instead, I own an '89 MX83 Cressida, into which I've put a 1UZ-FE (from a Japanese spec Soarer)
Anyway, I am wondering if anyone could tell me (or direct me to a picture) about the spark-plug lead covers on the US-spec GS/LS/SC spec Lexus' - particularly the earlier models running the 1UZ.
Specifically, when you stand in front of the car, and look at the engine, you should be able to see the words "V8 Four Cam 32" on one of the lead covers...which side is this on? The Driver's side (or RHS as you look at the engine), or on the passenger's side?
If it is on the left (ie. NOT the driver's side), I'd be very keen to get hold of one...
Thanks in advance, and apologies for the off-beat question!

On my US-spec 1992 SC400, that cover is on the left/driver's side of car, or the right side if you are facing the engine from the front. It would be obscured by all of the air intake plumbing if it was on the passenger side.
But if you were resourceful enough to put in an engine, you might be able to adapt the covers so you can get that "V8 Four Cam 32" on the desired side. The part with the writing is very flat and straight- you might be able cut it away from the rest of the cover and attach that part separately.
