Does anyone know where to buy a solenoid?

Hi everyone, Does anyone know where I can buy a solenoid for my 92 ls400? I am sure it has gone bad and I need to replace it, i hear its a pretty tough job. Im hoping I can find a solenoid for a good price.Thanks for your help, barry

buy the whole starter why mess around do it right or dont do it at alll

Are you referring to a tranmission shift solenoid or a starter solenoid? I have a transmission solenoid should you need one or both since they work in pairs ..side by side
