Default Correct ft/lbs for oil drain plug?

What is the correct torque for the oil drain plugs in our cars? I remember stripping the one in my Tahoe. I can't find any info on this. I'll betcha VVT-i will know

29 ft-lb. I did this with torque wrench when I was in technical school and after a while I got hang of it and now I just goes by the twist of the wrist..
I know DD, Sooner and Lex-Tech know about this too. Lex-Tech is our newest tech member on CL and he will looking out for all the members too.

Is this number good for the trans and differential plugs also (1993 LS400) ?
