Default Help my car is stuck in drive way and won't start

The car cranks well but it just will not start. I tried charging the battery, and the battery is not the problem.

Does any one know what the problem could be?

Does this job have to be done by a mechanic?

Is there any way I could find out the problem myself? I know auto zone has a code reader but they will not come to your house will they?

I really don't want to pay to tow it.

The car is an ES300 year 2000

Unfortunately there are many reasons a car will crank but not start... A code reader may help you, but most likely not.

Unfortunately, if you have zero experience with working on cars (I assume that is the case), then little we can tell you will help when a car will completely refuse to start... Need to see if there is spark and fuel, then of course, timing is next... Not to mention a variety of sensors and the computer to control those things...

Is the security light turning off when you put your key in the ignition?
