IS250 oil change

IS250 oil change
So the recommended interval by the dealership with regular oil is 8,000KM (5,000Mi)
However I've been using synthetic for the past few oil changes
Does this affect the OCI? Can I run the synthetic for higher mileage? (10,000-12,000KM......which is roughly 6200-7500Mi)
For the record I drive a IS250 (if the whole carbon thing affects this question), as well I normally use Eneos Synthetic
Thanks

Aren't these cars [pretty much any Lexus post '06] not running synthetic out of the factory? I remember talking to one of the service guys at a Lexus dealer and he was telling me something like that.
8K is a synthetic mileage time frame by the sound of it. This can turn into an ugly debate, but I suggest reading up on bobistheoilguy.com to see what those nerds have to say since they all do oil analysis tests and such to determine what the best oil is/filter/breakdown period, etc. to come to a sound conclusion on what is good for you.
Huh, even google comes up with this thread when simply searching "Eneos oil canada"; http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums...Number=2383623

No on the factory fill synthetic. The only ones that do are the LFA and the IS-F.
I always follow the manufacturer's intervals for service, synthetic or otherwise. I just go with a regular fully synthetic oil, none of the extended interval or high mileage stuff. Hasn't failed me in over a decade.
