How often to go for service, when car is not driven much?
My wife's RX is 2.5 years old and she only has 7500 miles on it. I already did the 5000 mile service, when is a good time to do the next service.
When cars are not driven much how often should they have service done?

Yes. I drove the LFA.

I think a general rule of thumb is to have the oil changed twice a year, regardless of mileage. So, every 6 months..
Im guess your wife has a 2010+ RX? If so, it uses 0W20 oil, which is a 10000 mile oil change interval. So, once a year for the oil change is good.

agreed.
Q: when it is driven, how long are the trips? over 20 min, or mostly less than 20min?
that's important since once the oil gets hot, it burns up a lot of impurities. but on the short trips they don't and that's not good for the bearings or other wearing components.
if its hardly ever driven for 30min, 2x a year.
-And brake fluid flush every 4-6 years... hygroscopic fluid means it attracts moisture and that means rust in expensive brake components after a few years... brake fluid is cheap, compared to ABS calipers...
