Default '97 ES300 Timing Belt questions...

I believe with 93-thousand miles on my '97 ES, I"m due for a replacement timing belt. Anyone know when this is supposed to happen? And whether the engine can literally freeze up if it's not done within recommendations?

Default timing belt

I spoke with a former Lexus master tech last week and he told me that, although the timing belt service interval for the GS300 is 90K, it does not need a belt until 120K. I don't know whether this also applies to the ES300 w/ the 3.0 V6. The former tech said that the Toyota OE belts are made with high-quality rubber than can easily handle 120K miles.
