Warnock Lexus in NJ Sucks big time !!!
I took my 97 es in last monday (8/19) for a leak coming from the vavle cover gaskets . Supposedly they didnt get the parts until the following monday (8/26 ) . Today is wed(8/28) and still not ready . How long does this normally take ?
I spoke to service and he said it should be ready by tommorrow . I have heard a lot of horror stories about lexus service centers . Apart from giving you a nice loaner i think toyota service is far better . They at least follow up and do not do any unauthorized repairs . As per the service advisor the repair is still covered under the power train warranty . So i am praying i wont be charged and they wont do any other service .
I will update when i get my car back

Honestly,
You should first breathe a bit before writing. Regarding what you heard, the problem is, that only constitute .001% of ALL repairs on the Lexus vehicle.
Try to give them the benefit of the doubt before starting to pass judgement.
Keep us informed.

I agree with Static
The only "runaround" you seem to be getting is that your car is not ready when you want it. Would you rather they rush and do a *****ty job??? As long as you have a loaner I don't see how you are being totally inconvenienced. You need to just chill and try to work things out with them...maybe there was some miscommunication or whatever, but people are human, make mistakes and sometimes ***** just happens, but I don't know that what I am hearing about your situation constitues a need to BASH the dealership the way you have.
