A well-oiled back bumper
This is submitted for those who have the cracks in bumpers made by small collisions. I mean the parallel hair-line cracks that can be very noticable..... I accidentally sprayed "liquid wrench" on my son's 93 gs300 back bumper which has had several small fender benders before he bought the car. Much to my surprise, the cracks disappeared! I mean I could not see them at all, no matter what angle I looked at the bumper. I tried spraying the liquid wrench in my hand and hand rubbed this stuff on other areas... it really did make the cracks disappear... some cracks I had to apply a second application.
After patting myself on the back, I wondered if this chemical would destroy the clear coat, paint or do any damage. After about a week, there was no change in the condition of the above. It is definitely not permanent, as after a good rain, the cracks started to reappear. after 2 more rains. it was back to looking like it did before the application.
If you want a temporary fix to a noticable problem, this seems to work. If anyone sees a danger to this, please let me know. My son Matt does'nt like me to "experiment" on HIS Lexus. Marcus
