Default Any way to remove scuff and scratches from chrome?

I chromed my uncles grill and this is the first time I have done it and it didn't go so well. He didn't say anything but I feel bad about it. Is there anything I can do to get the scuff marks from the harsher brillo pads out or some of the scratches that were made.

Thanks guys

Francis

normally chrome is a very hard metal, but I think the grill is a hard plastic, you might want to try some plastic polish...it might work.
