Help needed in Philly/Wilm, De area
Hello All-
Live in the Philly area and wanted to see which dealership people recommend for service. The two dealerships that are nearest to me are Lexus of Wilmington and Wilkie Lexus (ardmore, PA). Also, know there is a dealership in the Lawrenceville, NJ area that is near my cousin's house. Is there one that people reccommend for service. thanks

I live near Lawrenceville, NJ but I don't go to dealer for maintenance so I can't help you there. You can use any local shop that you trust for your maintenance need. Just remember to buy ATF type T-IV from Toyota if you need trans. fluid change.

Live in Newtown, PA and....
have been to Wilkie (not recommended unless you like being treated as a nuisance and not called back unless you bought your car there), very busy there,
have been to Lawrence lexus, nice folks, not that busy
never been to Wilmington, sorry...
I use a private mechanic, $35 an hour, builds Cobras (some 27 over the last few years, I think) in the Devon area. He installed my Bilstein Sports with Eibach prokit and did an expert job aligning the car. Changed plugs, installed TRD STB and LCB. I think he is great.
I get depressed when I go to the Lexus dealer in general.....
short story .... (the rubber molding on the bottom most part of my doors was seperating and I thought I would replace them all. This is the half inch piece that overlaps the side skirts from the doors. Lexus wanted approx. $178 for just the two front doors, their distributor didn't have the rear pieces so he couldn't quote me a price. Went to Pep Boys, bought some 3M trim adhesive and glued it myself in 5 minutes for around a dollar.)
PM me if you want my mehcanics number...

Wilkie is good
I've had good experience with Wilkie Lexus in ardmore -- never been to Lawrenceville.
What I can tell you, in my opinion, is NOT to go to Cherry Hill, NJ Lexus.
