Default '91 LS400 Tachometer Problem

Newbie here, just a quick question -

On my '91 LS 400, I have a problem where the tach needle doesn't mive at all from a cold start, but as the car warms up, the needle begins to move, until it finally functions normally. If I tap on the top of the dash, it will move up, but will still stick.

Has anybody experienced anything like this?

Thanks in advance,

-Reed
