HELP Almost broken key fob
the screw in the back of my key fob fell out.
the two pieces still held together fine, but now (after almost a year) the plastic on the fob is breaking
just today i put it in the ignition and I felt the plastic breaking... Its starting on the edges, and will eventually tear the key a new one if I don't get this fixed.
anyone know of any cheap replacement fob housings Or what size/where to get the screw that goes into the back of the key?
the key isint straight anymore, when its sitting there it sits there bent

There are plenty of places on ebay that sell key blanks.. Then you can either go to a good locksmith who can cut Lexus keys, or a lot of dealers have their own key cutting machine. All you have to do is pull the electronic part out of your existing key and pop it in the new key and you're good to go.

Go to your Lexus dealer . They make a key fob replacement now! not sure on price but this is getting to be a common thing with keys on older cars. That is why they have changed keys on the new models.
