Rear window defroster not working
Hi guys
I have a 2004 ES330 which I bought a couple months ago with 70k miles. The other day it was icy and I turned on the rear window defroster and it wouldn't de-fog the rear window, the window was cool to the touch, meaning the rear window defroster wasn't working. The heated mirrors DID work though. I know there is a special fuse for the rear window defroster but I can't pull it out for the life of me, even with needle-nose pliers. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what's wrong, and how I can pull out the fuse to see if its blown? If it's not the fuse, can anyone speculate as to what's wrong? On a side note, I had the windows tinted by an aftermarket shop (not sure if the defroster was working before then) and as of now, all the coils seem intact and not broken on the rear window. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
