Default Fuel System Treatments for a New Vehicle

I have an 08 ES 350 with approxitmately 500 miles on it. Is is too early to add any type of fuel treatments like Chevron Techron or Regane to maintain a clean fuel system?

So long as you use quality fuels, there is never a need or reason to add these treatments... I have never ever used them in any of my own cars and have never had a need to either...

Also, since its such a new car, you dont really have to worry about it as long as you keep it maintained well

It also depends on where you get your gas. A good website to see the best places to gas up is www.toptiergas.com With that said, I have been using Gumout Regane every 5000 miles right before an oil change. It's a peace of mind thing plus i believe in shell products. I have personally seen fuel injectors with and without the treatments and there is a difference.

Your car is still brand spanking new..no need to add any in just yet.

On my car, it has only seen chevron premium fuel all its life. I maintain the crap out of the car, however I still had my fuel injectors cleaned up with F.I cleaner.. I went from an average of 20mpg on the highway to 23-24mpg. Not everyone will get results.

You don't need the cleaner as the vehicle is that new. One of the few places I knew where such cleaners were highly advisable with a new vehicle was when I lived in Mexico and the gas was not that great compared to U.S. gasoline. There I used a bunch of cleaners, but my favorite was Redline Fuel System Cleaner (Pep Boys is where I see it at).
