Ok...then Pennzoil Platinum 5W30 it is! Does the car feel any different when switching to sythetic? What are the advantages?

No difference for me. I use it for longer drain interval. Synthetic is 'suppose' to run cooler than dino oil.

That's weird. You should have checked out the one in Santa Ana first over the Cerritos one. Did you go to the one in the town center? The Wal-marts here in south oc seem to always be stocked with the jugs.

Yes i went to the town center walmart. Perhaps it was just a coincidence.
