Default Which one to adjust

Which one of these bolts do I adjust to tighten my gas pedal? Also is there anything special I need to know when doing this? I know on my last mustang if the tension was not PERFECT the car would run like crap.

The one higher up leads to the Cruise control module (the black box on the passenger side of the engine bay). The lower one in the pic is the one that you want to adjust.
