Default surging reverse

i've tried posting in the gs forum, but to no resolution. i've recently purchased my first lexus. it's a 05 gs300 with almost 60000 miles. when i put it in reverse, it occasionally has a surging feel, or a slipping. it doesn't happen all the time, and it's only in reverse. i've taken it back to where i bought it from and they told me that they had the trans flushed and put in an additive. the problem is still there. any insight or resolutions will be greatly appreciated. i don't exactly have the funds to buy a new trans. THANK YOU.

You still covered under power train warranty. Your car is an 2005 GS with less than 60K and the power train warranty is 6 years/70K which ever comes first.
