Default follow the owners manual for spark plug replacement?

hey guys,
1st time poster on this board. i have a 2003 gs300 and wanted some opinions on if i should go ahead and change the spark plugs at 60k as the manual recommends or if it is ok to stretch it out. i always thought spark plugs get replaced closer to 100k.

thanks

all those good expensive plugs actually "last" 100k , but i would change them around 60k or 70k . . .

i have a 98 gs400 and i run NGK IX iridiums . .. ..
