DIY brake fluid flush
Can I do this on a 2006 GS300 with a power bleeder? I've read that if you open up one bleeder valve, the "computer" senses this as a problem and won't allow fluid to flow to that caliper. What if I pressurize the system with the power bleeder and then open all 4 caliper bleeder valves at the same time... let them all flow until all the new fluid is in the system and then tighten them all down? Would that work? Must the car be on?

Ok, per lexus: 1) with ignition off, pump pedal 40 times. 2) turn ignition on, chech that the pump stops running affter 30-40 seconds. 3) pump the brake pedal 20 more time w/ ignition still on. 4) bleed right front, then left front calipers. 5)depress the brake pedal and bleed the right rear, then left rear calipers. 6) connect a scan tool and access the brake bleeding menu, follow instructions given - bleed the right front, then the left front with the brake pedal depressed. 7) if the hydraulic booster has been serviced, special tools are needed to bleed the unit.
Now, for the real world - I have not had issues with just bleeding everything as stated, and omitting the scan tool part.

Bleeding a 1999 GS400 brake line???
I have a 99 GS400 and need to bleed all the lines. I have read there is a specific order to do this, and not necessarily starting with the "furthest" wheel from the master cylinder. Which caliper is really furthest on a 99?
