Default Replacing Alternater and Starter on LS400?

I was just wondering how expensive is it to replace the Alternator and Starter on a 1990 LS400? It has over 100K miles and the Timing Belt was changed, it's selling for $2000 and I want to know how much I am going to look to spend for some of the things to change/maintain.

alternator is cheap but the starter is a real PITA since u have to remove the entire top end of the motor (intake and etc...)

alternator is easy to get to, I did myself. Replacement or rebuilt one costs $100-$150.

Starter is hell...

Alternator is easy. 30 min - 1 hour job.

Starter on the other hand.. took me a freaken goddang week.. had to drive my parents car to school while i was working on my sc400 heh
Labor for the starter is about 2-3k from what i heard.
