Default service manual

Can someone please post the procedure to get ECU codes. I would like to diagnose my trac off/cel light problem myself--I am sure it is just a sensor since i can reset the ecu and it goes away for 400 miles or so. I would appreciate this very much. And this will be a 2-part question once i get the code I will need you to look it up for me.

thank you in advance

Getting codes is easy , under the hood is a DLC Data Link Connecter.
Jump terminals E1 Te1 and Tc together turn the key on running or not doesnt matter and count the flashing check engine light .
Wait for a pause then count along pause starts a new code a short pause is a double digit code.
By the way all the lights will flash like a xmas tree.

P.S your car I would bet it needs o2 sensorsand there are 4 of them 2 main and 2 subs it would be the mains, replace both even if it only shows 1 because the other one will soon go too. hope this helps.

Default ON LINE manuals

Has anyone ever found the LS400 manuals on line, say in a PDF format?
