Default How to read a production change effective VIN #

I'm looking at TSB releases from Lexus and they say the TSB applies to VIN #'s effective before a certain serial number. Which digits in the VIN # denote the effective change number? Is it the last 6 digits?

You have to look at the TSB and your vin#. Some car is the last 10 digits and some car is the last 6-8 digits. For example the TSB will printed "Production change JTHBL****10000000" If your car vin# is JTBHL****09999999,then your car is effected under that TSB.
