Need to change 2005 Lexus LS 430 Brakes
My friend was talking to me about a special kind of brake set, it was composed of kevlar brakes, it was the first time I had ever heard of them and asked him where I could get some and he said you have to special order them from auto stores. Does anyone know of any autostores in the NY/ Long Island area who can special order these? Or any sites online? Because the Lexus brakes dont last very long only 25,000ish miles. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
RaheeL~

Use the OEM brakes they are the best for your vehicle. If you buy after market pads that are tougher then OEM and last longer they will just wear your rotors out faster. Rotors cost more the pads Don't worry be happy.

Yes. I drove the LFA.

You'll be better off sticking with OEM pads, because not only will they make your rotors last longer, they will be quieter. With a harder compound pad, you will glaze the stock rotors quicker, causing more noise, less clamping force, and possibly warped rotors.. (sometimes refered to as "pad transfer")... in other words.. stick with OEM pads..
