How to fix a stripped bolt?
Hey guys, I was changing the transmission fluid on my sc4 and the bolt is stripped. I have tried messing with it for an hour and couldnt get it out. Any advice?

I don't have direct experience with this situation, but a general suggestion is that one solution is to unbolt the whole pan and take it to an auto machine shop. They'll be able to fix it.

Before you drain the fluid, I'd get a spare from the dealer. Then use the clamping pliers and you should have no problem.
Mic or caliper the new bolt and wrench and verify it is the right size. I buy screws with some frequency and the manufacturing tolerances between bolt head and wrench leave much to be desired. I have to measure parts before assembly and it amazes me how messed up some parts are.
