I am sure in the owners manual it states to use 6.3 quarts of oil. Atleast that is what I put in the GS'

It said 5.9 in the manual. I don't know the dipstick looks fine in the morning. Maybe he didn't drain enought?

I know he changed the filter because it was def turned a different way before they changed it. I guess I will wait till morning and then check it again. But you know what who cares the car is a company car that is going back in March and then I will get my new GS. Which I can't wait for, that car looks so good. I don't know why I get so crazy about a car that is't even mine.

I use about 5 1/3 quarts in mine. I find that will put the oil level right at the mid point of the dipstick. Since it doesn't burn any oil, I don't see why I need to add 6 full quarts. But I think anything between 5 and 6 quarts should be fine.
