Default Help... SC's acting up

Hey guys, last nite my car started to act up and few things stopped working all of a sudden. No dome lights, no door lights, no power door locks, and clock keeps reseting. That's all I've found that doesn't work. Before I start tearing things apart to try and find the problem, I wanted to get some feedback and suggestions to what the problem might be. I'm thinking at this point I got a blown fuse, but I've read a couple of posts mentioning dash failures. Any suggestions on where to look for the problem would really help me out.

Check ALL of your fuses, both in the engine bay and in the kick paned in the driver's footwell.

NY's right. Start with the simplest things first. I had something fairly similar and it ended up being that the negative battery connection was not good enough. A new connector and we were good to go!!

THANKS NY AND KORSU, I'll check all the fuses when I get home from work and I'll keep you guys posted on whether that was the issue. I'm thinking the same thing as ny though.. it seems like it would be the fuse, but considering this is the first lexus I've owned, just wanted to make sure. Thanks a lot for the quick response guys.

Yeah you might want to replace your battery terminal. I had that happen to me plenty of times. Then I just got fed up and replaced the terminals and it was all good. Make sure they are not loose. When you look at them they might appear to be on tight but kind of wiggle them around. If the do move even slightly you are not getting a strong current from the battery. About the rest of the problems..I'd try checking the fuses.

I would suggest replacing your battery as a start. If its over 5 years old you're going to have to do it soon anyways.
