Hey Guys my SC is up for the 60k service. I wanted to compare my quote of $600 to what other SC owners have paid. This is from a local lexus mechanic not the dealership. I would prefer to take it to a dealership but I trust my guy to handle it.

Well, if I remember correctly that is about what I paid for my 60k service. Not that I couldn't do it myself, more for the documentation cause I was seriously thinking of selling my car back then. I've decided to keep my car long term and now do most of the work myself. I agree, start saving for the 90k service now

I think the $600 is a good price, but save $400 and do it yourself. While your own documentation may not appear as impressive as a dealers, If you retain the receipts from material purchase and start a log of any and every service done to the car by yourself, any future buyers will be impressed!
