Car service - BIY stuff - MAJOR CONFUSION
[B]LEXUS ES300 1995 3Litre V6 AUTOMATIC
ok here are the things im going to buy then go to the dealer, instead of him giving me crap 5 dollar engine oil or something.
engine oil -
which 1? right now its mineral, done about almost 200000km(120000miles), what kind of visocity, and what brand, synthetic or mineral. its on mineral right now and oil sluge is hanging off the engine block.
oil filter -
thought about getting OEM toyota, or should i just buy a quality brand, i mean, its a fuss coz the toyota dealers a 5 min extra drive
spark plus -
again, toyota platinum? denso iridium, bosch platinum, or plain carbon..or whatever, i dont think my plugs has ever been changed im not sure, but now its running fine, not sure if i should fork out money for spark plugs
timing belt -
i think i'll just go with genuine toyota, but my cars running fine, what are the things that i should get if timing belt is about to go. (quite costly to replace, not the belt, but manual labour)
