Default 90915-20004 Oil Filter

I keep hearing that Steve Ganz of Carson Toyota is going to do a group buy of the 90915-20004 oil filters, but have been unable to get any status or update or information or response from anyone on this buy. So maybe this post will do it. Anyone out there doing a case lot buy????

I would tend to think that the availability of these will be dwindling. If Steve can find them, great but otherwise, using the current filter or other after-market will be the easiest choices.

I was admonished for posting a source of these filters a few weeks ago, with the comment that Steve Ganz was arranging a group buy. I too would be interested in a steady supply of these filters for fellow CL members. Perhaps DaveGS4 or Steve will care enough to update us all on this.

Default Need Link to 90915-20004

CSAXON, thanks for the info, but when I type in toyotaparts.net, it doesn't provide me with site that has the parts. I then went to six other sites and no one has the parts, just the YZZD3 filter.

I also went to ebay and there are no 90915-20004 filters listed, only the YZZD3.

Can you provide the link that you listed in your post? I know others are anxiously awaiting.

CSAXON: I could not find the filters either. I even searched ebay, but there were no hits. There are several substitutes, YZZD3 among them, but no 20004 filters. Can you please be more specific in your stated sources.

Default Round & round

Thanks again for the posts on the elusive 90915-20004 oil filter. After reading all the posts, and chasing through all the links provided, I found that Steve Ganz is really Supratrd and his phone number is 1-800-908-6968.

I don't think this filter ever existed except in folklore from days of the old east. So if this filter does not exist, and since I can afford to spend $18 on filters, and can afford to use synthetic oil and change it at 3000 miles, and ride motorcycles, smoke cigars, and drink wine, please don't give up on me yet.

Does anyone know which Fleetguard filter or AMSOIL filter crosses to the 90915-20004 filter???

Go with the K&N oil filter... Or the Mobile One oil filter for your engine...

I have already tried that. A Toyota Parts manager put in a request for the filters with TPN and was turned down. So that source is closed even to dealers, at least for now.

I've been working on this with a target price of $10.79ea. Ordering in large quantity and there not available in the USA, I also use this on my Supra and I'm real low on them! Be careful, there's been a rash of fake ones out there, I only sell Genuine

I hope to get a confirmation and ETA, it will be at least 60 days to my dealer so once it goes through I will post, promise!

Default there is a God

Steve, thanks for the update. I want to be first or second on your list. I'll take 3 cases of them when you go to buy. Have credit card, or check, or cash or money order or cashiers check or my first born son. Really do appreciate your involvement in this.
