If you want to change your tranny fluid (LS4 holds 8.4qt total), you discard 2 qts, and leave 6.4 qt of OLD fluid. Who wants to be driving on old fluid.
In fact, if you change the fluid 4 times, it will still leave your 8.4 qt capacity transmission with 33.5% OLD fluid circulating.
Does anyone have a more efficient way to drain more of the fluid than 2 qts at a time??

The only real way to get all the old fluid out is to hook the car up to a trans flusher machine. Call around and see who can do it. May get expensive since you use type 4 fluid in your car.

the Lexus dealer quoted me $149 for a tranny flush via a machine for my '92 SC300. That seems pretty comparable to other dealers of different makes...
