Aribag Computer - Will a 93 work in a 92?
I need a new airbag computer and I have a hookup for a 93 Airbag Comptuer for an SC300. I have a 92 and my concern is that the 93 won't work right since it is a dual-airbag system. Does anybody know this for sure or if it will still work fine? Would it be possible to put dual-airbags in the car, by replacing the dash/passenger airbag then to make it work!! Thanks for any input!

Tim,
Your best bet would be to call the dealership and get the part numbers to see if they match.
Personally I would say at minimum the connections would be different. As for adding an airbag, sensors etc seems like a lot of trouble.

Hmm, alright. I was thinking it woulnd't be that hard since all I'd need to do is route the wire from the airbag to the computer and put the new dash in. I don't think there are other sensors, at least not in the early models of airbags.
