How do you take off the top of the coolant resevoir to add more coolant? I've tried the little round top cap but it doesn't seem to want to come off, no matter how much I twist. Am I missing somthing?? Is the whole top cover supposed to detach?

On my V8 just a counter-clockwise twist removes it. Maybe on your car you have to be pressing downward as you twist off the cap, kinda like those childproof pill bottles .
