Default spark plugs/throttle body

hey guys, i'm having a tough time taking the throttle body off so i can get to spark plugs #3 and #4, its a 95 sc300. there is just one hose that is stoping the TB from commin off, this hose is pretty thick, and when your looking at your engine from the front its one the right side on the bottom of the TB. i have taken some pics and circled the hose, if anyone can help me, that would be highly appreciated, thanks

thats the coolant line. theres a small clamp underneath that you have to take off for it to come off. Put some rags underneath it so the coolant doesnt spill into the plug galley. Also, it helps to take off the long studs that the TB slides on so that you can tilt the TB to get the coolant line off. The studs come off with an 8mm socket. Just make sure you dont bend the metal gasket between the TB and intake mani

I used long needle nose pliars that had a slight bend in it. It works great to get into that tight area to squeeze the clamp so you can remove the hose. I got the pliars in a three piece set from Sears. One pliar was long and straight, another had a 90 degree bend, and the third one had a 45 degree bend (this is the one I used for removing the clamp).

Once you get the right tool, it's pretty easy to remove. Good luck!
