The driver seat on my ES all of a sudden will not work right. All the adjustment functions work except one. The bottom of the seat in the back will not move up and down anymore. The front of the seat still goes up and down, but the back(like where your butt sitts) will not move up or down. It makes noise when you push the button, but that's it.

Anyone know what the prob could be?

Moving this to Maintenance to see if that's any help.

Maybe a burnt out motor for that adjustment... or a broken gear/cable. Only way to find out is to remove the seat and look...

how hard is it to remove seat and diagnose?

just 4 nuts hold down the seat, two front, two rear... then you can tilt it up.. unplug the connector, and remove the seat itself for inspection.
