Ok I have this wierd thing happen every once and a while to me while im driving. My accelerator will stop working and the check engine light comes on and the vsc light and anothe rpointless light come on and i have to restart my car to get it to work again. However sometimes it will happen again right and I had lexus fix the problem and the charger me 500 dollars for some sensor and obviously didnt fix it and I hate them as it is so i am not going back. They Told me having 20 inch rims on the car was the cause becuase they are morons who just like to blame anything they can on the customer, but i dont have the rims on and its still doing after they suppossively fixed the problem.

It sounds like one or more of your O2 (oxygen) sensors is giving you engine problems. Which dealership in CT did you go to? I use Westport and Greenwich for service.

You may experience a bad throttle motor( a complete throttle body). You need to get it check out and get the engine code, possible P0120 or P0121.

Thanks for your help guys I havew already repl;aced my 02 sensor at Hoffman lexus where I purchased my car and that was a waste of money becuase it didnt work. And at westport lexus they told me i needed a new throttle body and they were gonna charge me 1400 for parts and labor. However I am no longer allowed at westport lexus becuase they tried to scam my creditc ard for a 1000 dollars in the slaes department and I had to start threating people to get my money back so If i go bakc there I am arrested. SO i gues my problem is probably throttle body but I am not paying 1400 dollars to fix the damn thing so if u guys know anywhere I might be able to find a used throttle body let me know.

That does NOT sound good at all It kinda surprises me as well since I have had nothing but good relations with the service dept (incl. the parts and body shop managers), and don't see them as the type of people to take away other people's money for nothing (at least from my experience in the last 2-3 years).

I'll be more than happy to deal with them for you if you want me to (I gotta help out all my CL brethren whenever and wherever), but if not, then I understand. PM me for further discussion
