Default My weekly lesson...

A lil' comment about my small Lesson learned.-
Just recently had some issues with what seemed as vibration at highway speeds. Didn't have the typical slow down pulsating issues but it was the rotors nonetheless. Last brake pad change was not done at the proper time and the rotors must not have been turned or turned properly.
MY FAULT for not changing brake pads at the proper time.. To busy "Big Pimpin"..lol

I guess my comments are what most of you guys preach... Instead of getting so caught up in sugar coatings ie: rims, kits, stereos and paint jobs... focus on the basic mechanicals. Its funny because I suspected the brakes but got "distracted" and neglected the basics.. Learned my lesson...

Changed both front and rear rotors and pads. Rotated the tires, oil and fluid change and walllahhh,,,the car runs like new again...Nothing major done but the simple stuff makes the SC what it is.. A luxury sport coupe that rides like a dream.....Just my .02 cents for the week..

Well said. Larger wheels & tires also are harder on the brake systems due to the increased weight (fenerally speaking) which is also something to consider.

Excellent job blktiger on taking good care of your SC. Absolutely nothing wrong with learning a lesson, and this is why we are both car enthusiasts AND owners
